Electrophysiological Aberrations in

Borderline Personality Disorder

 

  

Dr. Nashaat Boutros will summarize findings related to EEG, evoked responses and sleep physiology in patients with borderline personality disorder. Dr. Boutros is currently Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and has published numerous papers in national and international journals in addition to numerous books and book chapters.  Learn at the feet of the master--Dr. Boutros is considered to be the leading authority on the clinical utilization of electrophysiology in the practice of clinical psychiatry.  His presence at our forum is a unique opportunity to learn this important contemporary and relevant information from a leading National authority on this subject.

 Nashaat N. Boutros, M.D.

 

 

Nash Boutros, MD, is currently Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and has served as Chair of the Department from 2014-2017. He graduated from Cairo University College of medicine in 1974. He is board certified in both psychiatry and neurology and specializes in neuropsychiatric conditions. Dr. Boutros has published more than 210 peer reviewed papers in national and international journals in addition to 8 books and numerous book chapters. Dr. Boutros is considered to be the leading authority on the clinical utilization of electrophysiology in the practice of clinical psychiatry.

The Greater Kansas City and Topeka Psychoanalytic Center is a nonprofit organization which provides a forum for discussion of theoretical, cultural, and clinical ideas regarding psychoanalysis, as well as networking opportunities for professionals, through community forums, professional workshops and annual film series.
