The Greater Kansas City-Topeka Psychoanalytic Center offers a referral service for persons interested in psychoanalytic treatment. We are especially interested in, but not limited to, assisting
those who might benefit from psychoanalysis but are unable to afford it at the standard rates. Consultation also is available at no charge for mental health professionals who are considering
referrals of their own clients for psychoanalysis and want help in assessing their suitability. All inquiries are handled in strict confidence.

us. Messages may be left at any time. Please mention the “referral service,” and be sure to include your name and telephone number, as we make all appointments by phone. The
referral coordinator, who is a Center member and therapist/analyst, will return your call and offer you a brief telephone consultation in order to make appropriate referrals to analysts and
psychotherapists in the community. All subsequent arrangements, including fees, are made between you and the analyst to whom you will be referred. If a treatment other than psychoanalysis seems
to be indicated, the coordinator will help you find the appropriate resources.
