This study group is designed for clinicians who are interested in applying for psychoanalytic training -- sooner or later. The content is intended to introduce members to the breadth of analytic material covered in formal training. We will read about both psychoanalytic theory and clinical technique.
The group meets the first Tuesday of the month, September through June, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in Kansas City.
Those interested should contact Micheal Lubbers, PhD, at 816-560-6350.
This study group is open to those who have graduated from either the psychoanalytic or psychoanalytic psychotherapy training program, or 'advanced candidates' who have completed the four-year curriculum but who have not yet graduated. We work to keep up to date by reading contemporary literature -- typically books that have been peer reviewed with high marks. We strive to be an interesting and exciting way to keep abreast of the current thinking in psychoanalysis.
The group meets monthly in Kansas City from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. It is also accessible to those outside of the Kansas City area via Zoom.
Those interested can contact Richard Zeitner, PhD, at email@example.com for more information.
